How To Make Your Own Bath Salts

Making your own bath salts are fun & easy.
You can make it yourself  to give as gifts to friends and family.
Wonderful Mother's Day gift!

Bath salts have many healing principles
Physicians have been known to advise patients to bathe in the sea, or routinely take salt baths at home in order to alleviate skin conditions, improve circulation, or as a general restorative.  Many natural salts contain healthful minerals such as calcium, magnesium, or potassium.  Salt baths are also credited for their cleansing and detoxifying properties.

Needed Ingredients
Epsom Salt
Sea Salt
Baking Soda
Container to store bath salts
Optional: food coloring & fragrance oils/dried herbs

Directions
In a large bowl mix 2 cups of Epsom salt with 1 cup of sea salt, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda & mix well.
If you are coloring your salts...add just a very tiny drop of food coloring & continue to mix well. DO NOT ADD TOO MUCH, food coloring has moisture & will clump your salt if to much is added.
If you are adding fragrance oil add just a drop or two now & mix well.
If you are adding dried herbs place about 2 tablespoons now & mix until well incorporated.
Place salt into a well sealed container, you want to avoid exposure to humidity.

Add about 2 tablespoons to your bath.

You can chose many ways to package your bath salts here are a few ideas.
